
Laurie Veldhuizen

DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT & ENGAGEMENT
Laurie brings more than 25 years of management and revenue generation experience in non-profit, higher education, and primary education organizations to the position. With a track record of driving results and fostering strong relationships, Laurie specializes in strategic planning, organizational leadership, operational growth initiatives, recruitment strategies, and retention programs. Most notably she served as executive director of Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, where she navigated pivotal transitions in organization mission and the higher education landscape, led campaigns to optimize operational functions, and transformed technology platforms. Additionally, Laurie has directed individual and corporate fundraising programs, developed a collegiate residential housing infrastructure, and was a kindergarten through eighth grade technology teacher. Laurie’s experience comes from her time with local, national, and international organizations including the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA), Denver Botanic Gardens, Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, and Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools.
Laurie earned an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and completed a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She lives in Centennial with her husband, Chad, their two sons, and two dogs.
