Mike Pritchard serves as the Director of Information Technology at STEM School Highlands Ranch, where he is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of others through innovation and service. Originally from the Midwest, he relocated to Colorado in 2001 and brings a diverse background shaped by global experience, military service, and a lifelong passion for learning.

Following his service in the U.S. Army, Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and later completed an MBA at Cleveland State University. His professional journey began in the mining industry, where he traveled to five of our seven continents gaining a unique global perspective.

After several years managing a trucking company, Mike transitioned into the field of Information Technology, driven by a deep interest in computers and systems. His IT career began with a role supporting a funeral home conglomerate’s telecommunications and computing needs, followed by managing IT infrastructure for a local oil and gas engineering firm.

Mike’s enthusiasm for technology and continuous improvement has enabled him to stay ahead in a constantly evolving field. At STEM School Highlands Ranch, he leads IT initiatives that support both operational excellence and educational innovation.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their dog, Cassie. His personal interests include reading, researching emerging technologies, and tackling home improvement projects.
