About

SCHOOL ACCOUNTABILITY COMMITTEE

The School Accountability Committee (SAC) is made up of parents, teachers, and community members—people just like you. While every school in Colorado is required by law to have a SAC, at STEM, it’s also a meaningful way to get involved and help shape our school’s future. The SAC plays an important role in supporting and improving our instructional programs by offering feedback, sharing ideas, and helping guide decision-making. The committee reviews and supports the school’s improvement plans, makes recommendations on how school funds are prioritized, and helps monitor progress tied to our accreditation with the Board of Education. It’s a great opportunity for families and community members to stay informed, share their voice, and contribute to the continued success of our school.
