
FAQS AND ACCESSING CMAS SCORES

Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) are the system of statewide tests in English language arts, math, science and social studies that are given to all Colorado students in grades 3rd - 8th and 11th (science only in high school).

The Colorado Alternate (CoAlt) Assessment is an academic, standards-based assessment designed specifically for eligible students with the most significant cognitive disabilities. The primary purpose of the assessment program is to determine the level at which Colorado students with the most significant cognitive disabilities meet the Extended Evidence Outcomes (EEOs) of the Colorado Academic Standards.

- Please note Social Studies was only tested at random schools in Grades 4 and 7.
- My child took the Alternative CMAS test otherwise known as CoAlt. How do I look at these scores? What should I know?
- Students who take the CoAlt test take English and Math through the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) platform. Science is taken through Pearson.
