NASA needs help and we are calling on all STEM students to take part in the 2020 Mars Rover Naming Contest as we try to get the newest rover named after our very own STEM Spartan Hero, Kendrick Castillo. A passionate engineer, Kendrick was a vital member of our STEM Robotics team who should be remembered among the stars for generations to come. During the week of October 7-11, our Language Arts Department will be hosting a school-wide essay-writing drive during 10th period (2:55-4:00 p.m.). All essays collected will be shared with the Castillo family and will then be submitted to NASA no later than November 1. Essays should also be emails to firstname.lastname@example.org after submitting them to NASA. To find out more about the Name The Rover Contest, click here.
