All seventh grade students recently attended a presentation by Holocaust Survivor Jack Adler. He shared a powerful account of his experiences and spoke about the dangers of bullies and the importance of respect for one another.
When asked by a student how to prevent the evil of the Holocaust from happening again, he encouraged the students to never tolerate racism or bigotry of any kind.
Mr. Adler has published a book called Y: A Holocaust Narrative; or you can read more about his story here: https://www.cpr.org/news/story/denver-holocaust-survivor-jack-adler
Special thanks to Beth Lippa and the Mizel Museum - https://mizelmuseum.org/
as well as Mr. Adler. This presentation will hopefully serve to inspire our students as they begin their creation of World War II/Holocaust virtual museum projects.
