Athletics News

Spartan Sports!

As we come into fall break, we have some great celebrations for our Spartan Athletes! Please see below for Sport Specific Celebrations!

We have our last regular games on Monday, October 14th at South Sheridan Park in Lakewood. Please look for the updated playoff schedule for Monday, October 21st and the championship game on Monday, October 28th! Not only do we have amazing soccer players on the field, but each week we are impressed with them off the field as well! Our players go out of their way to shake hands with the coaches after each practice and game, as well as the refs at our games. This is not common practice in the league, but the boys took it upon themselves to make this the standard at STEM.

Both our Gold and Silver team won this past tuesday! As we enter the Semifinals during fall break we would love your support to help us get to the championship game! Our Silver team plays at 5:15 and our Gold team plays at 6:00! If we win these upcoming games we will head into the championship game on the 22nd! We play at the Gold Crown Foundation in Lakewood every Tuesday! Please come out and support our volleyball team as they both teams have a 5-1 record! These girls are constantly told that they are the most polite team in our league and they take it above and beyond to make sure they keep true to the STEM Standards and hold that title within their league.

Cross Country

We had our final meet of the season at Cherry Creek High School. 17 Athletes recorded personal best times and Ben Vickland set a new school record of 17:14 for the 5k.
