Camp Invention is one week in the summer where your child’s creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. Our top priority is to inspire future innovators and build their confidence in the natural ability to dream and create.
Perform in the timeless classic that takes you down the rabbit hole with the ever-curious Alice to a land of zany adventures where nothing is as it seems. Students will memorize lines, understand scene work and the importance of working as a group. Students will learn the basics - voice control, Broadway dance, and singing. Instruction on acting, stage movement, theatrical terms, awareness games, theater games, blocking (stage movement), character analysis, voice projection, anatomy of a theater, respect, dialogue and diction, stage movement, and of course, having fun on stage!
Get started on your adventure to making your own films! Whether you are excited to produce video for the internet or the big screen this course prepares students for a future in filmmaking. The culmination of the camp will be a screening of the class' film on the big screen at the Alamo Drafthouse in Littleton.
