Summer 2019 at STEM
Join us at STEM for unique and fun learning opportunities for your student during the summer months! Our summer camps are open to STEM and non-STEM students. Please contact Sara.Phelps@stemk12.org with questions.
Camp Invention is one week in the summer where your child’s creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills are challenged and developed in fun and exciting ways. Our top priority is to inspire future innovators and build their confidence in the natural ability to dream and create.
An exciting opportunity to be a part of the production! Morning technique classes in movement, acting, and voice followed by afternoon rehearsals. Our first morning we will play theater games and audition for roles. Every student gets a speaking role and a part. Students will create sets and costumes for our end of session performance on Friday.
Calling all 4th-6th graders with an interest in lego robotics and programming! Join us this summer for two exciting camps. These camps are being put on by our high school FIRST Robotics team (Team Impulse) to introduce a younger generation to the world of Lego Robotics.
You are joyfully invited on an enchanted journey! Every day we'll enter the world of a different fairytale with dance, music, and art. We'll make fairy wants, crowns, dress up, and dance with your child's favorite fairytales! Engaging teacher will captivate your child's imagination and love of dance. This popular camp fills quickly - space is limited!
This class will provide basic knowledge of acting techniques and stage movement to develop your student's imagination, creativity, and confidence! Each day, campers will rotate through core classes in voice, acting, and dance, along with an exciting array of workshops, including sketch comedy, stage crafts, and more! The week will culminate in a performance on Friday afternoon.
